Dead Men are Invisible
Col 3:3 – For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. (Greek apethanete”)
Its only in Christ that you are hidden, if you abide in the flesh, the devil can see you and attack
Dead Men are Available
2 Cor 13:3 – Since you desire and seek [perceptible] proof of the Christ Who speaks in and through me.[For He] is not weak and feeble in dealing with you, but is a mighty power within you;
Dead Men think like God
Col 3:2 – Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.
The Battle is spiritual, and you get your power from not being concerned with earthly things
1 Tim 2:4 – No man, being a soldier to God, entangleth himself with secular businesses; that he may please him to whom he hath engaged himself.
Dead Men are Seated with Christ
Col 3:1 – You have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God
It’s good to have a relationship with someone who is sitting on the right hand of God
Eph 1:17-20 – To the extent that we KNOW the riches of the glory
Eph 2:5-7 – Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation).
6 And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
7 He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus
Dead Men keep Growing
John 15:7 – If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Romans 1:4 – And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
Christ gives us this victory through Holiness. Mixture is a recipe for failure.
Col 3:10 – the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded into [fuller and more perfect knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it.
Only a new man can grow spiritually. But we DO GROW if we Stir up that which was given
Dead men have a brother, an advocate, a friend, a source of power
Hebrews 2 – What Jesus did for us was to take our place in death and conquer it, then transfer that victory to us!
Romans 14:9 – For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
Dead Men are Dead to Sin
Romans 6:2 – What are we dead to? We are dead to sin (1 John
Romans 6:7 – Those who are dead are free from sin – Jesus bought this for us
Romans 6:4 – We are raised in the newness of life
Romans 6:8 – Death has no hold on us – If we are dead with Christ, we live WITH Him
Romans 6:9 – Sin has no more dominion over us because it no longer has dominion over Christ!
Romans 6:11 – The great exchange, we are dead to sin but alive unto god (redeemed not to waste time for or on ourselves but for Christ’s use)(2 Pet 2:22)(2 Tim 2:20-22)
Romans 6:13 – Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Hebrews 7:16 – Jesus is the one created after the power of an indestructible life – I choose that
Dead Men are free from the Law (Ritual and Religion)
Romans 7:4 – The purpose of our redemption: to bring forth fruit unto God
Romans 8:1 – It’s not called the “Law of Sin and Death” for nothing.
Romans 7:6 – But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Romans 8:10 – And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Dead Men are Dead to Death
Romans 10:9 – Jesus “killed” death
Romans 14:9 – Christ is the Lord of both the dead and living
Psalm 8:4-6 – Man is crowned with Glory and Honor, has dominion and told to rule on earth, death being under our feet
1 Cor 15:29 – We are baptized into Christ’s death and raised
Gal 3:27 – For as many [of you] as were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union and communion with Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah] have put on (clothed yourselves with) Christ.
2 Tim 1:10 – But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
Dead men are Alive
Col 2:12 – [Thus you were circumcised when] you were buried with Him in [your] baptism, in which you were also raised with Him [to a new life] through [your] faith in the working of God [as displayed] when He raised Him up from the dead.
Romans 4:25 – Who was delivered for our offences and raised for our justification
2 Cor 4:14- God who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us
Hebrews 2:11 – Jesus is not ashamed to call us His brothers
1 Cor 15:20 – But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
Romans 8:34 – Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us
Nobody can tell me about my place, position, righteousness, future, reservation
Hebrews 7:11 – Now if perfection (a perfect fellowship between God and the worshiper) had been attainable by the Levitical priesthood—for under it the people were given the Law—why was it further necessary that there should arise another and different kind of Priest, one after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one appointed after the order and rank of Aaron?
Hebrews 11:39-40 – And all of these, though they won divine approval by [means of] their faith, did not receive the fulfillment of what was promised, Because God had us in mind and had something better and greater in view for us, so that they [these heroes and heroines of faith] should not come to perfection apart from us [before we could join them].
Christ brings in that which is superior to the “Law of babysitting” (Gal 3:22-25)
Matt 12:11 Jesus comes for all lost sheep
Luke 12:32 – It is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Rejoice! You’re dead!

The Power of a Dead Man
Romans 9:17 – For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, I have raised you up for this very purpose of displaying My power in [dealing with] you, so that My name may be proclaimed the whole world over.
The power of a dead man is for us to show the world the Power of God
Luke 10:21 – Jesus rejoiced in Spirit when we do the things the Father wants done here
Matt 28:18-20 – Go ye in this power
Mark 16:15-20 – the Lord works with us doing signs and wonders
