How God Interrupts our life to get our attention and love us into His kingdom

Isaiah 43:19 – “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

 

Matt 4:19 – Peter interrupted: “follow me and I will make you a Fisher of Men”

 

1 Kings 19:19 – Elisha, devoted worker, son, interrupted: Elijah throws mantle onto Elisha

 

1 Kings 19:16 – Change comes from Above

 

Genesis 37:5-7 – Rearrangement of familiarity: you might be the one that leads your family to Jesus

 

Acts 2:4-No longer just in word, but in signs, wonders, miracles: “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit    and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

 

Luke 12:49- Servant’s lives interrupted: I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already      kindled?

 

Acts 17:30-Lazy lives interrupted: “Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring   to men that all men everywhere should repent”

 

Matt 8:29 – Demons interrupted: And they cried out, saying, “What business do we have with each other, Son   of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”

 

1 Cor 15:8 – The dedicated religious are interrupted: “And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out            of due time”

 

GOD wants us to AMP it UP

John 10:10 Not to sit around, living boring repetitive lives. “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” AMP

 

Jer 14:18 He brings something new:

 

He who has “an ear to hear” – hear what?  Revelation – 7 times, Gospels – 8 times

 

LK 14:23 – We should compel men to come into the Kingdom of God

 

Rev 3:17 – the Lazy journeyer – NOT rewarded

 

Luke 24:13-32 – Jesus INTERRUPTS the believers journey, shows us Himself, then POINTS US TO THE     WORD: See here, this where it is written of me, I did this, I am this promise, I am this

 

Acts 18:24-28 – Apollos, although educated,  needed more training, and because his heart was right, he received          and grew
